I made this shift knob my new lathe. I measured the shift lever, found the thread dimensions, and made some prints. It has three different diameters on the inside, is threaded M8x1.25 at the top, and has a 1 degree taper along the body - the other tapers are 45 degrees. Should I sand and polish it some more, paint it clear, or have it powdercoated? And what color?!
